And in our first article we will talk about precious and semi-precious stones!

All stones are precious regardless of their price. The term semi-precious has been used for many years to differentiate between diamond, ruby, sapphire and emerald from other stones.

Today, fortunately, semi-precious term is obsolete and it is in disuse, but there are still many people who use it and here we are, the gemologists, to make our small contribution to the knowledge of the exciting  Precious Stones’s World !!!
